How to get to Faya Lobi?

There are several possibilies to reach Faya Lobi in Manzanillo:

Terminal del Caribe

Public Transportation: The bus is the cheapest way and also very well regulated. There is a direct connection from downtown San Jose at Gran Terminal del Caribe to Manzanillo and costs approximately $11 which leaves at 12.00pm. There are other buses but you would need to change at Puerto Viejo. Times may vary so check out www.thebusschedule.com/cr for updates. It is roughly a 4.5 hour bus ride to Manzanillo, with a short stop in Limon which gives you time to stretch your legs, get a bite to eat or something to drink. It is advisable to book your ticket one day in advance to guarantee your seat. If you are unable to get to the bus terminal a day in advance, you should ensure that you are there with plenty of time to spare as full is full.

 Bus Shuttle: Interbus has 9 mini buses that can bring you door to door and is approximate a 3 .5 hour journey from San Jose to Faya Lobi. It is a slightly more expensive alternative but far more comfortable. The journey from San Jose to Manzanillo costs approximately $40. Car Rental: Hiring a car is a great option as you won’t be tied to one place. Of course it is not the cheapest way but you will see so much more of the country on the way. Alternatively, we can reserve a car for you to be ready upon your arrival so your journey can begin.
