Snorkeling in Cahuita (approx. 4 hours) $49.00 pp

Snorkeling in Cahuita

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 8am and taken to the village of Cahuita. There you will meet your captain and guide who will take you by boat to the coral reef where you will snorkel for about 2 hours from 2 different points. The coral reef includes about 120 different species of fish, about 44 species of crustaceans, about 140 shellfish and more than 1280 different algae. There is around 35 different coral

species to be found in this area. After that you will be taken back to the beach where you can rest and have a snack of tropical fruits. Next you will begin a 1_ hour guided hike through Cahuita National Park, which is a combination of beautiful beaches, coral reefs and a tropical rainforest where you may spot many species of monkeys, sloths, frogs, butterflies and much more. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, a native guide, fruits, bottled water, snorkeling equipment, a guided hike through the National Park and the entrance fee to the Park. You should bring a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, dry clothes and comfortable shoes.

Canopy Tour (approx. 4 hours) $55.00 pp

Cable Line on Canopy Tour

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 8am and taken to the first canopy platform. Throughout this tour you will become acquainted with the flora and fauna of the primary forest and learn how the indigenous people use the plants. The tour includes 9 aerial platforms and 14 on land with a total of 2560 meters of cable. After the tour, you will return to the entrance of the farm for a snack and then will be picked up by your driver to return to Faya Lobi. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, bi-lingual guide, fruits, bottled water and full equipment. You should bring long shorts, insect repellent and good walking shoes.

Canyoning (approx. 5 hours) $70.00 pp

Canyoning

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 9am and taken to the entrance of the reserve in BriBri. With your guide you will then begin the walk to CarbĂłn River while learning about the flora and fauna in the area. You will arrive at natural pools which you will be able to jump into. You will then continue your journey to the first waterfall where you will do a rappel practice at about a 5 meter height. You will then continue the journey to another waterfall with a height of 40 meters, where you will do 2 rappels from two different points. Upon descent, you will enjoy a lunch served at the foot of the waterfall. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, an English speaking guide, drinks, lunchbox, full equipment and insurance. You should bring a bathing suit, a towel, dry clothes, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and insect repellent.

Whitewater Rafting in Pacuare River (full day) $100.00 pp

Whitewater Rafting on Pacuare River

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 6.30am and taken to the base where breakfast will be served. After that, you will be taken by bus down to the Pacuare River where boats and guides will be waiting to start the adventure. The classes offered are moderate-hard (III-IV) going down 28kms of rapids. After rafting, you will enjoy a lunch in Siquirres then return back to Faya Lobi. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, breakfast, lunch, monitoring, guide and full equipment. You should bring a bathing suit, a towel and dry clothes.

Butterfly Garden and House of Chocolate (approx. 3 hours) $39.00 pp

Sloth Sanctuary and Canoe Trip to Estrella River (approx. 3_ hours) $49.00 pp

Baby Sloth

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 8am and taken to the Sloth Sanctuary. You will first watch a 12 minute video about these curious animals. You will learn about scientific studies on sloths and the project of this particular sanctuary and find out the life stories of the sloths that live there. After visiting the sloth hospital, you will take a 45 minute canoe trip along the Estrella River where you will see the tropical vegetation, animals and plants typical of the Caribbean rainforest. After the canoe trip, you will hike along the trails of the farm where you will see sloths, butterflies, birds, monkeys and other species in their natural habitat. At the end of the hike you will see the place where the baby sloths live at the sanctuary. Finally you will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs about these adorable animals. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, entrance and visit to the sloth sanctuary, tour by canoe and a bi-lingual guide. You should bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent and a camera.

Indian Reserve, Waterfall and Chocolate House (approx. 4 hours) $60.00 pp

Uatsi Waterfall, BriBri

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 9am and taken to the BriBri reservation. Upon arrival you will begin a hike that will take you into virgin jungle and will observe its unspoiled state. You will then go to a waterfall where you can swim and enjoy a natural Jacuzzi. After that you will continue on to Uatsi town where you will visit the indigenous people, see a medicinal plant garden and learn about the life and handicrafts of the tribe. Next you will be driven to The House of Chocolate where you will learn about the history of cocoa. You will learn about the fruit and a very old method the indigenous people use to produce cocoa, chocolate and other products. There will be an opportunity to taste the chocolate and other products and to buy some to take home with you. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, an experienced guide, natural drinks, fruits and entrance to the House of Chocolate. You should bring a bathing suit, a towel, hiking shoes, insect repellent, water and dry clothes.

Misha Yorkin Indian Reserve (approx. 8 hours) $129.00 pp

Indigenous Village House

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 9am and taken to Bambù where you will be met by your guide. Your trip will begin with a canoe ride along the Yorkin River to a village that can only be reached by boat. On the way you will stop at “Shot” in Panama (no border crossing check point required), where you will swim in natural pools and enjoy a snack of tropical fruits and homemade cakes. When you reach Yorkin, we will take a walk in the village and visit the school and clinic and see organic cocoa and banana plantations and hostel La Casa de las Mujeres, where we will have a refreshing snack and receive a short talk about their Stibrawpa Project. You will then go on a walk to learn about medicinal plants and other products important to their way of life. When you return to the house, you will be served a wholesome lunch and then shown how they produce chocolate by traditional methods. You will also learn how to make an indigenous style roof. You will learn about the indigenous peoples culture, while enjoying this natural paradise. At the end of this interesting trip, you will take the boat back to Bambù where you will be taken back to Faya Lobi. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, a trip in an indigenous canoe, snack, lunch, chocolate tour, a local guide (if you require a bi-lingual guide, there is an extra charge). ATV Driving in the Jungle

You will be picked up from Faya Lobi at around 8am and taken to the tour company’s headquarters in Puerto Viejo. Upon arrival you will meet your guide who will explain how to operate your ATV and give you safety instructions. You will then have a short practice session before starting your adventure tour. The trip takes you through the jungle and mountain trails of Talamanca, where you will observe wildlife and arrive at a waterfall where you will take a break and enjoy a snack of tropical fruits. Next you will visit an indigenous community where you will learn about medicinal plants and how the Indian people use them. You will also discover more about their customs and their way of life. Minimum 2 persons. The trip includes transportation, full equipment, insurance, bottled water, tropical fruits and a bi-lingual guide. You should bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent and a camera.
